Some wedding days feel beautiful from the very beginning—and Danielle and Andrew’s wedding at Thornberry Creek at Oneida was exactly that. Set in the Green Bay area, Thornberry Creek is known for its scenic setting, flexible event spaces, and beautiful indoor-outdoor backdrop for wedding days, making it such a lovely place for couples wanting both elegance and warmth.
From the start of the day, every detail felt intentional. Danielle chose a timeless bridal look with a soft, classic gown, delicate veil, and a romantic beauty style that fit the day so perfectly. Her details were stunning—especially her ring set styled with white floral heels and invitation pieces in rich green tones. It all came together in a way that felt refined, personal, and effortlessly romantic.
One of my favorite parts of their day was how grounded it felt in connection. There was emotion, yes—but there was also this quiet steadiness between them that made everything feel deeply genuine. Danielle and Andrew shared private letter-reading moments before seeing each other, standing just around the corner from one another, holding hands while reading their words. It was such a meaningful way to slow down, stay present, and create space for the emotion of the day before everything officially began.
Those moments are always powerful, but this one felt especially tender. There was no need for anything overly elaborate—just the two of them, a little privacy, handwritten words, and the anticipation of what was to come. It was simple, intimate, and unforgettable.
Danielle was surrounded by such a joyful group of women, and that energy carried through the entire day. The bridesmaid palette of deep green paired so beautifully with the soft neutral tones and white florals. It gave the whole wedding an elegant, natural color story that felt perfect for the venue and season. Thornberry Creek offers a variety of wedding spaces, including the Hawks Crest Ballroom, Cupola Room, and outdoor ceremony areas, all designed to accommodate everything from intimate celebrations to larger guest counts.
And then there were the family moments—some of the most meaningful parts of the day. One especially emotional image was Danielle leaning gently against her dad before the ceremony. It’s one of those photographs that says everything without needing words. Wedding days move quickly, but these quiet in-between moments are often the ones couples and families treasure most later on.
As the day unfolded, Danielle and Andrew’s portraits became such a beautiful reflection of who they are together. There was a softness between them, but also a playful comfort that made every image feel natural. Whether they were wrapped up in the veil, smiling at one another, or sharing a kiss during the reception, their connection came through so clearly. Nothing felt forced. It just felt like them.
I also loved the contrast throughout the gallery—from soft editorial-inspired detail photos to candid bridal party laughter to warm, moodier reception moments later in the day. The entire wedding had a visual rhythm that made it feel full and layered. The classic black tuxedos, creamy florals, rich greens, and stone architecture all worked together beautifully, creating a look that felt timeless while still personal.
One of the things I loved most about this wedding was that it never felt like it was trying too hard. It was elegant without being stiff, emotional without being overly performative, and beautiful without losing the heart of what mattered most. Danielle and Andrew created a day that felt centered on love, family, and being fully present with the people around them—and that always photographs beautifully.
Thornberry Creek at Oneida is such a fitting backdrop for that kind of celebration. The venue is designed for weddings with customizable spaces, scenic views, and a setting that works beautifully for both portraits and guest experience. Danielle and Andrew made it their own in the best way: with thoughtful details, meaningful moments, and a celebration that felt completely true to them.
Danielle and Andrew, it was such an honor to document this chapter for you. Your wedding day was filled with so much beauty, but even more than that, it was filled with heart. The quiet moments, the joy, the emotion, and the way you looked at each other all day long made this one incredibly special. Your wedding was a reminder that the most meaningful days aren’t about perfection—they’re about presence, connection, and the people you love most.
If you’re planning your own Thornberry Creek at Oneida wedding or dreaming of a wedding day that feels romantic, heartfelt, and true to you, I’d love to help you document it in a way that feels natural and lasting.
